About Us...
As parents, you are welcomed and encouraged to be a part of the Advocates of Dance Society. We are a group of parents who established a non-profit society in December of 1995. Our purpose is to support the students of the Douglas Ballet Academy and to promote a love of dance, both as a fine art form and an avenue of creative expression. We do this through providing monetary bursaries and scholarshops, purchasing tickets on occasion for students to attend dance events for free, renting theatres so all of our students can perform, and organizing fundraisers.
Being a member of the Advocates of Dance is a worthwhile cause. Membership in the Society is open to all, please contact us for more information.
